In gifted olive groves in Laconia, from Molai to Monemvasia, one of the best olive oils in the world is produced. The area is recognized and protected by the European Commission for the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), which confirms its uniqueness. The olive fruits are picked manually and transported to the oil mill, where the olive oil is extracted on the same day exclusively by cold pressing.
